Suddenly thought of this on Monday night while I was leaving for home after 11's BBQ. How long ago is that?

Parents are the strangest creatures on Earth. Sometimes you just felt like stamping out of the house and never seeing them again, but the other times, I feel like throwing myself into their arms as though I'm 5, not 18.

This used to be the convo when Mommy's in Singapore. (She went overseas last Sun!)

Mom: DO YOU WANT ANY FRUITS?~ MANGO, APPLE, GRAPES, ETC ETC?
Angela: Uhhhhhhhhhhhh apple with skin peeeled & cut & Mango too~
Dad: Why can't you let her do it herself??? She'll become crippled if she sits there all day long, day-dreaming behind her books. -____-
Angela & Mom: -IGNORES-

Last night:

Dad: Do you want any fruits?
Angela: Uh no thanks.
Dad: How about water????
Dad: TEA???? COFFEE?? MILO????
Angela: Uhm no thanks I just drank!
Dad: -PLACES A CUP OF TEA ON MY TABLE-
Angela: Aw!

(Few mins later)

Dad: DO YOU WANT ANY FRUITS?????
Angela: Nah!
Dad: YOU SURE??? APPLES, PEARS, BANANAS, KIWI FRUIT???
Angela: Nope!

(Decides 2 go to the kitchen & got an apple from the fridge)

Dad: -RUSHES TO KITCHEN-
Angela: I'll do it!
Dad: You know how to do it? (He means peeling the skin)
Angela: Er.....
Dad: -SNATCHES OVER-
Dad: Go back to your room & wait!

Angela: :-)
